We're ending the holidays this year with 1984's Night of the Comet! Surely this is one of your favorite flicks but if you haven't seen it, think Valley Girl & Night of the Living Dead and throw in a guy who looks like Eric Estrada along with teenage Christmas mall shopping and you have Night of the Comet. Admission is always $5 and Ernest Gonzales, Adrian Rivera & Joseph Albert will be DJing in the lobby between shows. Come out and end the holiday hustle with us! Merry Christmas from the Rewind crew! We had to. We really had to. We start talking about our favorite martial arts movies and then we talk about Van Damme and then we start imitating the scene where Frank can't see. You know, right before he meditates and kicks the shit out of Chong Li. Yeah.. If enough of you can convince me then I just might consider reenacting that scene for everyone. So anyway, we just had to give you guys Bloodsport. Everyone remembers Kumite! So come out and relive some classic Van Damme with us at the Alamo Drafthouse Westlakes on Sunday November 29th. It's always $5 and Ernest and I will be doing a little trivia before the shows. We will also have free BLOODSPORT buttons for ya! OKAY USA!
