February 2008 So it's February...the month of love, right? So here at Exponential, ,we thought we share a little bit of love with you. After all...you probably deserve it. Just don't go around cheating on us though, but if you have to...please protect yourself and use headphones.
We are very happy to announce that we will be putting out an E.P. later this year by Texas based producer, Otic Angst.
So what does Otic Angst sound like...think electro - disco - nastiness... guaranteed to be in dj's regular rotations.
This song might even mess up your Serato from being played too much so don't say we didn't warn you.

Upcoming
Release: Wait til the Ice Melts
It was a abysmal day when Alaska joined the
union and Texas lost the bragging rights of largest state in the
U.S. The most popular
saying of the time round these parts was, "Wait til the Ice Melts." A
mighty wind is stirring in Texas these days drifting in new sounds
from the lone star state. Wait til the Ice Melts is a compilation
of new music emerging from Texas but it's not the strum of acoustic
guitar you might expect. Instead, the album features an assortment
of electronic, indie, and downtempo experimentation from 14 of
Texas' brightest producers and bands. So dust off your perception
and ya'll take a listen.
While on Saturn's Rings featured on XLR8R XLR8R
says...
Taking cues
from 8-bit games of yore, downtempo, and even a little indie-rock,
Ernest Gonzales could find himself at home with Morr
Music or Anticon artists alike. Combining melancholic guitarlines,
subtle vocal samples, and acoustic hip-hop percussion, this San
Antonio-based producer is on the road to making a name for himself
in any number of musical circles. "While On Saturn's Rings" is
a just over two-minute experience that's interesting, delicate,
and slightly banging all at the same time.
